Our mission is to collaboratively develop national park quality recreation areas in the Trinity River Corridor while empowering and preparing youth to become future stewards of the environment.

GWRI is a non-profit, community-based organization that helps make Rhode Island’s urban communities healthier and more resilient places to live by improving the physical environment and creating economic opportunities for local residents. Through job training, employment, and social venture programs, GWRI offers a variety of urban stewardship programs and projects that train and employ lower-income Rhode Islanders, including those with past conviction records and youth. At the same time, GWRI works to physically improve our shared urban environment, especially in predominantly lower-income communities and communities of color in Providence, Pawtucket and Central Falls.

The EarthLab Climate Action Park is a four acre space where students and community members gather to celebrate each other, learn about climate- science, and generate solutions to improve our environment. The EarthLab is -located next to Millenial Tech Middle School and home to a tributary of the Chollas Creek, a volunteer maintained plant garden and the home of education programs of Groundwork San Diego. Groundwork's education programs serve students of the Lincoln High School cluster of schools in school day and extended-day learning opportunities as well as summer break camp programs. Groundwork also works closely with the entire Chollas Creek community through outreach events to inspire environmental stewardship and climate action.

The mission of Grow Local South Texas is to grow a healthy local community by improving access to, education about and advocacy for affordable nutrient dense foods.
