The mission of Hayes Arboretum is to provide nature and recreation related education to its visitors through instruction, experiences and amenities.

Heal the Bay Aquarium is the educational arm of Heal the Bay, an environmental non-profit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. We use science, education, community action, and advocacy to fulfill our mission. Heal the Bay provides services like beach cleanups, outreach to groups and schools, MPA (Marine Protected Area) Watch program, Angler Outreach program, and advocacy training. Heal the Bay Aquarium is open to the public for exploration and engagement, and we provide services such as field trips (virtual and in-person), camps, enrichment, teacher workshops, special events, and birthday parties.
