A picturesque landscape nestled in the heart of Aroostook County, this sprawling facility was originally created as the first olympic biathlon facility in the United States, and has since added a large number of trails for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat tire biking. The facility also maintains a disc golf and geocaching course. Events, festivals, and programs are offered year round for all ages, and rentals are available for mountain bikes, discs, cross-country skis, and snowshoes.

Norman Bird Sanctuary
A wildlife refuge, NBS encompasses over 300 acres and seven miles of trails that wind through hay fields and woodlands, and along four ridges with spectacular views of the surrounding ocean and ponds. Their educational programs are designed to introduce children to the great outdoors; to help teachers supplement their own science, history, and art curricula; and to engage advanced learners in the principles of ecology, wildlife biology, and species conservation.
