Sacramento Splash
At Sacramento Splash, our mission is to help children understand and value our natural world. We are a small and passionate group of nature lovers, scientists, and educators working toward ensuring every child has access to forming a connection with the natural world. We teach both teachers and students about our natural habitat using our water pollution prevention-focused curricula. Splash is passionate about being the region's resource for environmental outreach and education, and is dedicated to creating the next generation of nature stewards. We are ensuring that every child understands the impact they make on the environment, through the choices made at home and in their community.

Sailing Ships Maine
Sailing Ships Maine delivers experiential learning programs at sea and creates life-changing opportunities for teens of all abilities and income levels to discover the ocean environment, expand leadership skills, and consider further maritime training.
Our largest program by enrollment is a 4 night, 5 day sailing voyage for students ages 13 to 18. These academically-accredited programs are open to students from everywhere and start and end in various Maine ports including Portland, Falmouth, Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, Rockland, Bangor and Camden. Students become part of the crew from the moment they step on board and work as a team living together, sailing, navigating, housekeeping, watch standing and developing their leadership skills, confidence and resilience.
Sailing Ships also offers a 5-day, 40 hour program for students ages 10 to 13 teaching these same skills by day only.
