TGS is a public charter high school that explores the interdependence of human and natural systems. Through a rigorous pre-college curriculum, TGS develops citizens and leaders engaged in finding peaceful and sustainable solutions to local and global challenges. Through direct experiences in nature along with the latest in environmental science and technology, students grow academically and socially, become environmental stewards, and actively manage the limited resources we share as a global community.

From family fishing expeditions to comprehensive region-wide flood mitigation, The Greenway Foundation is taking constant action to ensure a sustainable water future. We are bringing the community to the river and the river to the community. Since 1974, we’ve been leading efforts to reclaim the South Platte River and its tributaries, transforming our community’s vital watershed from a virtual cesspool to a place of environmental and recreational pride. As we look to the future, we believe our work is just getting started.

The HEAL Project offers experiential farm-based programs at The San Mateo County School Farm in Half Moon Bay. Our educational science programs cultivate kids'' environmental awareness and health literacy. Students who visit the farm are empowered by learning about their food system and earth''s natural cycles to better understand where their food comes from and why it matters. We have a series of different types of field trips that can be chosen ranging from one to two touch points and compost specific programming.
