Urban & Community Forestry Program

Urban & Community Forestry provides education about the management of community and individual trees; conducts presentations on tree care topics; coordinates the Tree City USA recognition program, a framework for communities to manage public trees; conducts assessments of community and individual trees; provides free potted trees to communities and schools through the Arkansas Community Trees and Shade Trees on Playgrounds programs; and conducts a Free Tree Fridays campaign annually in celebration of Arbor Day.
