Mission and Purpose
Located in Casco, Maine, Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation, and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy for children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families, through the various stages of a childs illness.
Camp Sunshine has the distinction of being one of the only programs in the country designed with the focus on addressing the impact of a life-threatening illness on the entire family. Our retreat model includes a combination of recreational activities, and support. The retreats are illness-specific, offered year-round, enabling families to be served when they need support the most, and families attend at no cost.
