Peterson Young Naturalist Program

In partnership with Loudoun Co Public Schools, LWC provides professional development for teachers. The scientific journaling lessons are inter-disciplinary and provide standards aligned lessons in all subjects for all grades. Since 2010 we’ve supported teachers and students to document their love of nature and build capacity for seeing nature as the teacher and the classroom. As part of the Nature-Based Learning movement, the Peterson Young Naturalist program inspires a life-time of observation and love of our natural world.
