During the three hour cruise, 7th - 12th grade students are immersed in current scientific research inside the Crystal Cove State Marine Conservation Area & Underwater Park. We have student teams studying water quality, fish biodiversity & plankton species to determine the overall health of the Marine Protected Area off of Crystal Cove State Park. Partial and complete funding is available for Title I and underserved classrooms. If interested in applying for financial aid, fill out the Teacher Learning Community Application and email to
