The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum, located in The Dalles, Oregon, serves schools and communities along the Columbia River. The museum's mission is "to inspire appreciation and stewardship of the Columbia River Gorge and Wasco County through collection, preservation, and interpretation of cultural and natural history." Our youth programming is designed to connect students to their surroundings, helping them better understand themselves and the places they call home. Through these experiences, we aim to provide a sense of belonging and empower youth with a deeper understanding of their roles as residents of this unique region.
