Joshua Tree National Park
Joshua Tree National Park provides the perfect outdoor setting to enhance classroom-based learning. You can visit on your own or have a ranger join you for an outdoor education program. All ranger-led education programs are curriculum-based (California State Education Standards, NGSS) and free of charge. Transportation grants are rewarded within a 50 mile radius of the park. Live too far away to visit in person? We can visit your classroom virtually! We offer free, live virtual visits presenting topics ranging from plant and animal adaptations to geology to guided drawing. All our programs follow Next Generation Science Standards and practice action driven inquiry.
