About One Cool Earth

One Cool Earth (OCE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in September of 2001. Our mission is to create school garden programs that grow happy, healthy, smart youth. One Cool Earth (OCE) aims to enhance public school education using school gardens as outdoor learning labs that teach youth about food, water, and waste. OCE’s programing utilizes hands-on, project-based lessons to engage and empower students at public schools in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties.
