The flagship program of the Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy is our top-notch science, conservation, and research outdoor education overnight camp on Catalina Island, California. Our coastal location is surrounded by a pristine Marine Protected Area and students explore the land and sea guided by our Resident Naturalists. We offer curriculum focused on marine and earth sciences, leadership, and character development and incorporate the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the core competencies of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). We offer 3, 4, and 5-day long programs for students in 5th through 12th grades. Youth that visit Emerald Bay are never ready to go home!
