Sea Hugger embodies the movement to incorporate outdoor education into the general education system. We believe it is crucial for humans to learn to respect and care for our planet at a young age, to ensure a lifetime of appreciation and good stewardship of our home. That is why we are developing a series of videos that are virtual field trips to different marine habitats along the San Mateo Coast called "Camp Sea Hugger". The videos introduce kids (and families) to the unique habitats, the sea creatures that inhabit these areas, and provide instruction on how we can help protect these areas and animals. We ultimately hope to have eight videos, but right now we have one completed and two in production. We offer the videos for free and they have Spanish subtitles.
