Student Paddle Trip Program on the Kansas River

Friends of the Kaw hosts educational paddle trips for high school and college classes on the Kansas River. Educational paddle trips are a great, hands-on way to learn about a variety of biology, history, and river-related topics. Instructors tell us what topic they want to cover, and FOK works with them to set up a paddle trip to address it. Most trips last 3-5 hours and FOK provides the equipment, and materials needed for the trip.
