Mushrooms Of Oklahoma

Our K-12 Mushroom Identification Program teaches students how to safely identify edible and poisonous mushrooms found in Oklahoma. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, students will learn to recognize key features of various mushroom species. The program emphasizes the importance of responsible foraging and understanding the ecological role fungi play in local ecosystems. This initiative fosters environmental awareness and curiosity, helping young learners connect with the natural world.
