Deschutes STREAM Connections

The Middle Deschutes Watershed Council is a community-based organization that works with Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District as their fiscal sponsor. Our educational program is managed by the Middle Deschutes watershed in rural Jefferson County. The Deschutes STREAM Connections program reaches underserved students in Jefferson County through watershed ecology lessons tied to hands-on restoration projects. Our activities are designed to build confidence in youth as they pursue outdoor learning and to foster broader community watershed stewardship.
