Location: Mud Bay, Homer Alaska
Description: Students learn to identify shorebirds up close using field guides, binoculars, and spotting scopes. They will get to experience the migration of birds into Homer, AK. Other activities include investigating tidal mudflats for macro invertebrates, migration game, and using dichotomous keys to identify the shorebird species. (Shorebirds 101 prerequisite required.)
