Geology of Shenandoah: Our Rockin’ Earth – In-Park

By studying Earth's dynamic geological makeup and rock cycle, students will understand the forces and processes that create Earth's various landforms and develop and appreciation for the importance of geology in people's lives. As humans and environmental impacts are evaluated, students will consider and practice stewardship behaviors that support a healthy environment. This field trip is recommended for fifth grade.
