Richmond Area Education: James River Ecology School

Come explore Presquile National Wildlife Refuge with JRA! Our Ecology School programs bring students to Presquile aboard the Spirit of the James, a 40 foot, Coast Guard-inspected vessel. Students can engage in fish trawls, nature hikes, canoe paddles, and other activities in daytime programs. The island can also host students for overnight trips in a fully-kitted bunkhouse.
