The Acorns to Oaks (A2O) program was developed by Napa RCD to empower students and community members in regeneration of native oak forests.

A2O school programs serve 5th - 8th grade schools through free classroom and field programs where students are directly involved in collecting and planting acorns, and returning to their plantings during the spring to maintain and monitor their health. Students learn about the value and importance of trees as they relate to air quality, wellness, carbon sequestration.
