Adopt-a-Tree

In fall, winter and spring visits, students experience a multi-disciplinary immersion into the wonders of our temperate forest ecosystem Literature, hands-on learning activities and active, small-group exploration will lead students to see interdependencies in our ecosystems, understand how to ''read" adaptations, and understand how nature's interactions change with the seasons. Involves the study of trees, herbaceous plants, wildlife, and wildlife habitat. Incorporates elements of science, art, literature, and specialized vocabulary.
