AYRW collaborates with TreeFolks to serve high school students in a nature-based, service-oriented summer program in environmental science and youth development. Students water and monitor the health of hundreds of trees; collect, analyze, and publish water quality data; perform environmental restoration projects; and participate in outdoor adventure experiences. Students gain leadership skills and are motivated to complete high school and seek STEM and environmental career paths.
