California Environmental Education Program

The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) vision for environmental education in California is to support the future generation of leaders who will address the world's growing environmental challenges. We will accomplish this through a collaborative, scalable approach, providing transformative educational experiences for youth. By partnering with public schools, we aim to connect young cohorts to TNC's iconic protected lands, scientific expertise, and innovation. The program launched at the Dangermond Preserve and we plan to expand it to other TNC Preserves in CA.
