Through hands-on activities, students learn about chipmunk adaptations and then explore the
beneficial relationship between chipmunks and trees. Students unpack mystery seeds from
chipmunk masks and then pretend to be chipmunks as they match their seeds with native trees that
benefit both wildlife and people. The chipmunk children hike through the forest to scatter seeds as
they search for chipmunk food and shelter. This program takes place outdoors
