Conservation Project Mini-Grant

RCRCD offers conservation mini-grants of up to $500 per educator for conservation projects in our district boundary. Local classes and youth groups are invited to learn about soil and water conservation by participating in outdoor learning projects on school grounds or in the community.
Examples include elementary and middle school gardens, building compost piles, protecting slopes, and planting trees and native plants to help animals like hummingbirds and monarch butterflies.
Applications are accepted throughout the year.
