Crane Scene Investigation

The largest gathering of Sandhill Cranes in the world happens right here in Nebraska! Groups are invited to become Crane Scene Investigators and learn about these fascinating birds. Each program gives insight into what makes Sandhill Cranes unique and the importance of the central Platte River valley to their survival. We then begin an investigation to discover more about the why the cranes gather on the Platte River and the importance of the central Platte River valley to their survival.
