Educational Programming

We train volunteers to become water quality monitors to protect the river and foster a real sense of stewardship. Volunteers collect water quality data every month and expand the data set and knowledge of the river. This program has been going since 1995 and is the oldest and largest group of its kind in the state. The program is open to students over the age of 12, as well as local residents and university students.
