Farm to School
by Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture

A partnership with Columbia Public Schools for the 3rd & 5th grade classrooms at 8 elementary schools (7 are Title 1 schools). CCUA & CPS collaborate to provide 15 lessons to each class throughout the school year; we also bring them all to Columbia's Agriculture Park for field trips in both the fall & the spring. We are piloting a farm to school program with 1st graders at one school as well.
