Groups meet at Douglas-Hart Nature Center for a hands-on, outdoor adventure led by a trained naturalist. Field trips through the Douglas-Hart Foundation are carefully aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and the North American Association for Environmental Education Guidelines for Excellence to ensure the experiences enrich and expand the curriculum, strengthen observation skills, immerse children in sensory activities, increase children's environmental knowledge, and expand children's awareness of their community!
