Guided tours of the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve are provided by trained volunteer naturalists. The schedule of available tours coincides with the low tide calendar. This timing permits a full exploration of the tide pools and all of the animals and algae that make this area their home. Engagement by the naturalists encourages discussion as well as individual discovery. The two-hour adventure involves both the bluff shoreline as well as the coastal ocean ecosystem. Tour participants leave the Reserve with a newfound awareness of the biodiversity this marine environment has to offer.
