GreenKids

GreenKids provides hands-on standards-aligned environmental education for PreK-12 grade students in partnership with local school systems in the DC region. Through in-class lessons, after-school support for Green Teams, facilitation of field experiences as part of a Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE), or extra-curricular programming, GreenKids helps students develop environmental literacy and care for the planet through sustainability education and action. GreenKids also offers professional development for teachers and supports for Maryland Green School certification.
