The Escondido Creek Conservancy's Habitats Program begins by providing teachers with two lesson plans to implement in the classroom that include an iNaturalist lesson that introduces students to native plants and animals in our watershed and a book created for this program (GoldiLox and the Three Habitats) where students make a claim about what trout need to survive, and if humans can change a trout's environment.
