The RethinkWaste In-Schools Program supports school waste reduction and diversion initiatives by providing campuses with equipment and infrastructure, technical assistance, and student education at no-cost to the schools. The RethinkWaste team works directly with school staff to identify opportunities to increase waste diversion and reduction, determine what equipment is necessary, and coordinate methods to improve current waste processes on campus. New waste infrastructure is paired with student, staff, and custodial training to encourage participation in the program and proper bin sorting.
