Internships and Fellowships

The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center is dedicated to fostering the development of the next generation of environmental scientists and scientifically minded thinkers through an active fellowship and internship program with an international scope.

Internships are meaningful and supportive professional learning experiences that provide access to the field of environmental science for college students.

Fellowships are opportunities for independent study and research that make use of SERC researchers and facilities, post college.
