As before I am a descendant of a California tribe and have used our hands on activities to teach intrinsic values. For example, as the student whether adult or student pounds the yucca plant, they see the fibrosis pieces. Look at one piece easily broken but when all these threads are worked together they become strong. This is an example of how human beings learn from each other, value each other and become a strong network and extended family for others.
