Junior Solar Sprint

PSEA has sponsored the Junior Solar Sprint every year since 1993. This environmental education and engagement program is open to all middle schools in the Philadelphia region. Hundreds of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders design and build model solar cars, culminating in the Junior Solar Sprint race. PSEA partners with Drexel University to host the Sprint on its campus. The Junior Solar Sprint engages a broad range of students in solar energy.
