Nature Journaling Field Trips

Nature journaling is a flexible and engaging practice that helps students develop NGSS-aligned science skills, nurture curiosity and wonder, and strengthen their relationships with the land and with each other. Southern Oregon Land Conservancy educators visit the classroom for a one-hour interactive introduction to the field trip, then guide students in exploring, questioning, and documenting at a conserved property or a public park nearby the school. Offered year-round for all grade levels, free of charge.
