Online Discovery Lab- STEM at Sea

STEM at Sea (Grades 6-8) The deep sea is the largest and least explored ecosystem on Earth, making it a dynamic frontier for scientific exploration and technological innovation. Understanding the criteria and constraints of a system is the first step in designing research tools and procedures. Join an Aquarium educator for a live 45-minute online program to “dive in” and explore the technology used by researchers to overcome the challenges of studying the deep sea. A self-paced online course complements the live program with STEM-based lessons that engage students in designing tools for deep sea exploration.
