Our Outdoor School is centered around watershed, stream, and habitat restoration in Eastern Oregon. We have an 80 acre conservation project with three streams that are the center of the outdoor classroom. Students engage in native plant identification, stream and mussel research, and water quality data collection using the Grande Ronde Community Science Project (https://www.granderondecommunityscience.org/). Additionally, students visit a local native plant nursery and farm, make nature crafts and enjoy the beautiful and fun property.
