Park Explorers

Park Explorers brings fourth graders to Frick Park for 3 seasonal visits spread over the school year. At the park, students learn foundational observation, inquiry, and recording techniques using the "I notice, I wonder, it reminds me of" protocol. The program intentionally includes time for quiet reflection and contemplation, supporting social-emotional wellbeing as well as science learning.
