Participatory Science

Research is a team sport, and the more people involved and the more perspectives we have the better the research. At SERC, volunteers are involved in research in a myriad of ways spanning multiple disciplines from environmental archaeology to marine biology. Some projects are led by volunteers and others rely on volunteers to collect the data. Volunteers are partners in discovery, helping SERC find answers to pressing environmental questions and getting an inside look at science in the real world.
