Explore the world of plankton and connect these microscopic organisms to water quality and healthy ecosystems. Students will spend time in two guided sessions, collecting water quality data on the Santa Cruz wharf, and analyzing a sample of live plankton in our classroom lab. This field trip program does not include exploration of the Center's exhibit gallery, but students and teachers in groups under 40 can explore on their own after the field trip, if desired.
