Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers, nonformal educators, homeschool parents, and natural resource professionals working with youth from PreK through 12th grade.

Created in 1976 and a program of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI, Inc.), PLT can be found in all 50 states and has been sponsored in Arkansas by the Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation since 1978. PLT helps students learn how to think, not what to think, about complex environmental issues.
