The Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s (IDEM) mission is to implement federal and state regulations to protect human health and the environment while allowing the environmentally sound operations of industrial, agricultural, commercial, and governmental activities vital to a prosperous economy. IDEM is committed to educating Indiana's residents of all ages on environmental systems. IDEM does this by providing programming designed to bring environmental education to schools, educators, organizations, and communities around the state of Indiana.
