Science Action Club

Launched in 2011 by the California Academy of Sciences, Science Action Club (SAC) is an out-of-school time (OST) program that inspires middle school youth to explore and connect with nature while achieving essential STEM learning goals. Through games, projects, and hands-on activities, youth in SAC investigate their local environment, document their discoveries, and contribute to global community science research projects. SAC's three curriculum units contain dynamic activities and scientific tools that foster STEM identity and promote science literacy.
