Our Snow School program introduces 5th-6th graders to the wonders of Mt. Hood's winter landscapes. Students learn snowshoeing, building confidence before venturing into the snow to explore winter ecology, water science, animal adaptations, and perform citizen science projects. This hands-on experience combines outdoor education with fun, making the winter environment accessible and engaging for all participants while fostering a deep connection to the natural world.
