Storybook Hikes

EDI's Storybook Hike program provides an enchanting outdoor adventure that focuses on family connection, literacy, health and wellness, and environmental awareness. We select nature-themed stories that foster conservation stewardship and inspire everyone to explore more. Storybook pages are posted at several stations along a trail at the Crestridge Ecological Reserve in El Cajon, CA, and “turning the page” requires readers to hike to the next station, allowing everyone to enjoy a story as they take in the natural world.
