Students for Streams

Students for Streams is a high school Meaningful Watershed Education curriculum that investigates how human actions impact local waterways. The curriculum is locally tailored as we look at water quality through the lens of the eastern oyster, a keystone species. Students conduct chemical and biological tests to determine the health of their local waterway, dissect an oyster to understand how their anatomy makes them powerful filters, and take action to help their local environment.
