Sturgeon Discovery

Sturgeon Discovery is a third grade Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience curriculum. Students investigate human impacts on the endangered and mysterious Atlantic sturgeon. Students learn about adaptations, habitat, and life cycles through the Atlantic sturgeon. Students seine net during a field experience what lives in their local river and conduct a schoolyard survey to determine how their actions impact river habitat. The program culminates in student driven action!
